Roster · Vol. 01

Four artists,
four quiet rooms.

Each project on Mossfield builds its own catalogue at its own pace. Volume 01 introduces our founding roster. Subsequent volumes will expand the room.

Velour Tape

Velour Tape is the moniker of a Lisbon-based producer working with vintage Rhodes, dusty samples, and unrushed jazz harmony. The project began as nighttime journaling sessions and has since grown into a slow, intentional catalogue of music for after-hours focus and quiet rooms.

Each release is a small monograph: a single mood, a single tempo, a single way of holding the room. Velour Tape is not interested in the viral cut. It is interested in the third time you press play.

Holm & Hush

Holm & Hush is an ambient project composing slowly evolving long-form pieces for sleep, meditation, and the threshold of consciousness. Pieces are designed to fade into background awareness rather than demand attention.

The duo's name nods to "holm" — a small island in a river or lake — and "hush" — the act of asking for quiet. The catalogue is built around that intersection: small refuges of silence carved from larger noise.

Little Lantern

Little Lantern makes gentle instrumental music for infants and small children. Music box melodies, soft xylophones, and lullabies in major keys, designed for nurseries, naps, and quiet evenings.

No sudden dynamic changes. No jarring elements. Free of vocals so it never competes with a parent's voice. Parent-approved and infant-tested.

Neon Cassia

Neon Cassia is a synthwave project drawing from 80s analog synthesis and cinematic VHS aesthetics. Tracks blend gated reverb drums, FM bass, and saturated pads — instrumental sketches of imagined night drives and neon-lit interiors.

Where most synthwave reaches for the peak, Neon Cassia stays in the long inhale before it. Music for the half hour after midnight, not the chorus.
